This events begins around January 18 and ends on January 21. It is fast becoming an equivalent to other world carnivals like those held in Rio de Janeiro and New Orleans. Tens of thousands of visitors from all over the world travel by plane or by cruise ship to participate in this festivity.

This mayor international event also held in old San Juan from July 8 to July 11 is a must to visit.
